Dear New York City,
Please open a good coffee shop or nice casual bar/restaurant near my subway stop in Brooklyn (Dekalb L). If you open one, I will brand your whole place for free. Logo, menus, signage, the whole shebang (not including the cost of printing). Seriously. Just give me some sort of card so I can have a free americano a few times a week and I'm all yours.
Sincerely,
Jessica

You know, I was wishing for the same thing here in Hoboken and had made quite a similar offer. How far are you from the Tea Lounge?
as the crow flies not very far, but in terms of public transportation its about an hour away.
The problem with many cafés is that they're polarized: they either feel too corporate or are filled with loud hipsters.
I want something quiet & relaxing that gives off a creative vibe, lets you chill there while reading or working, and doesn't rush you out or cost too much.
Apparently, that's a lot to ask for. Have you tried Think Coffee on Mercer in Manhattan or The Frozen Monkey here in Hoboken? I know it's more of a commute than what you're seeking, but still worth a visit.
wow i was totally thinking of drinking an americano...like right now
hmm are you sure the real reason isnt just so you could walk in and say to everyone, see the logo, menus, signs....me, me, me ,me ,me, haha! i even have a special card to get free coffee, haha!
just kidding, i would open up there just to have your art up and hang with you when you came in, but seeing how i dont have a coffee business that aint going to happen, haha!
keep up the cool art though!
definitely more because i'm lazy and don't want to walk "a whole ten minutes" to get a good coffee on the weekends. My area of Bushwick isn't quite as young and arty as the areas closer to williamsburg. (and I could make them at home but coffee time is take a break time!)
there IS a nice place like that at montrose. definitely in need of some good graphic design! - wesley
Well, if you change your mind about Frozen Monkey, send me an email and I'll meet you for a Tasty D Lite and Cappuccino.
The only place there is Dunkin Doughnuts, and the line is always long (I used to live on Hart-Wyckoff). Better off taking the walk to Wyckoff Starr and getting on at Jefferson Street. The gentrification will reach there soon!
