If you live in Brooklyn / NYC and happen to venture out to the Jefferson L Stop, do yourself a favor and get a BLT and a slice of banana creme pie from Northeast Kingdom. My God. Seriously. Go there now. This restaurant is great for so many reasons. For one thing it is a complete diamond in the rough in Bushwick, they have a lounge downstairs that has a fireplace (!) and cocktail service at night, and looney tunes (!!!!) and free coffee during brunch while you wait for your table. Owners of Northeast Kindom, if you are reading, I will be your design slave for free pie and Sazarac cocktails.
