Above: Procrastination documented. You may have noticed I haven't updated the blog with new work in a while (aside from the Daily Drop Cap project). I've had a good deal of this-won't-go-live-for-months-and-months-so-don't-put-it-on-your-blog work that I should be able to put up soon(ish). I've also been working on my new website, which should launch as soon as I can get all of my content together (lots and lots of new stuff!). You web people will be thrilled that there won't be even a tiny bit of flash left in the site, all the thumbnails will be replaced by html navigation and I'll even have my own CMS so I can actually update it more than once a year. I'll be integrating this blog into the new site (though probably keeping the blogspot site up for the bookmarkers) and I am really excited about everything. My new studiomate Cameron of Fictive Kin has been working with his team of internet geniui (plural genius) to build the site for me. If I could fabricate a "You are effing awesome" trophy for him, I would.

love that picture, and your work, of course! loving the M in the Daily caps.
You are SO talented! I love your work. I'm a graphic designer too and I always get inspired by your work. Would you ever think about doing a YouTube tutorial on how to design a font in Illustrator. It would be cool to see you do a sample!
I just discovered your site. I'm in awe. I'm a graphic designer in Anchorage, AK. We have beautiful mountains here, but as far as design inspiration, I must rely on the internet. After spending the whole afternoon reading your blog and drooling over your work, I have enough inspiration to last months. What eye candy! Just curious, what kind of computer do you use? If apple, which one? I'm just now switching from PC to Mac (finally!) and not sure which one is best for graphic designers, so I'm taking a little poll.
Thanks so much and take care!
LOL! You're too cute! Looking forward to your new website!

Just in case your tired of Lorem Ipsum.
I'm so glad you're continuing to do the daily drop cap! I was getting more and more worried as you approached "Z". I think Q is my favorite, but they are all fantastic. Can't wait to see more.

Hi! I love the daily drop cap project. Thanks so much! I can't wait to see your new projects. I translate books and love graphic design, good book covers and illustrations. Have a nice day! Best regards from Barcelona, Spain.
Hey, where are you? Please post.
I absolutely adore your work! You inspired me to do some Typographical Christmas Cards. Is typographical even a word?
So glad to have found you!
I used "Buttermilk" in a series of book covers I designed for class. Here's one of them. Hope you like it. http://www.flickr.com/photos/joshdsign/4154065353/
